Dickson Group was established in 1992 by Ashley and Ruth Dickson as a general insurance broker. We transact commercial and personal insurances for thousands of clients throughout Northern Ireland, using a network of branch offices in towns throughout Northern Ireland, along with our sister company in the Republic of Ireland, Dickson & Wilson. We’re still a family business. Ashley and Ruth’s four sons work in the business, so we know the importance of traditional values – great cover, great service, at great value for money.

Today, the Dickson Group business is the 73rd largest broker in UK, with the biggest branch network of any independently owned insurance broker in the UK and Ireland. The business continues to be run by Ashley, Ruth, and the Dickson Group management team, providing great service to our clients and customers throughout Ireland.
Our Future
We’ve come a long way since we started out in 1992. And in that time we’ve been joined by over a dozen other insurance brokers who liked Dickson’s progressive approach to looking after clients and employees. But we’re far from finished. Today, we look after thousands of customers across Ireland, and we’re proud that even although we now have the largest independently owned branch network in the UK, we still look after the insurances of many clients who started out with us over 30 years ago.
